visualization meditations
One of the best meditation techniques for opening and balancing the chakra points, is the visualization meditation technique. In this technique, exploited the color attribute of each chakra and used a tool to stimulate and awaken that particular chakra.
Let's first begin by giving a brief description though the chakra system and how they work. Point Chakra are energy vortexes that reside in the astral body and transmute energy between the 3 bodies that make up a human being. There 3 bodies are the physical, astral and mental body. Charka points essentially move energy between these organs, raising or lowering the frequency of the power as required.
Each chakra resides at a particular location along the spine of the base to the crown of the head, and the health of the chakras reflects on the health of organs and systems in that particular region. Moreover, chakra points are responsible for personality traits and the chakra in balance, it means have one physical, emotional and mental balance as well. So now we have an understanding of chakra points, we will delve into the visualization meditation technique that can be used to open, heal and balance the chakra points.
Each chakra point is associated with a particular color, and by the use of this information over the power of concentration and visualization can help stimulate a particular chakra and assist in the opening. Below is the color chart that shows the particular color associated with each chakra point. Each of these colors should be used, as described in the meditation script below it.
Chakra Point Color Chart:
Chakra color of the root of meditation: Red
Chakra Meditation Sex Color: Orange
The navel chakra meditation color: Yellow
The heart chakra meditation color: Green
Throat chakra meditation color: Blue
Chakra Third Eye Color Meditation: Indigo
The crown chakra meditation color: Violet
To practice visualization chakra meditation technique, one must follow the instructions step by step instructions below.
1. Or lie on your back, or sit in the position of cross-legged with your back straight.
2. Close your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply 5 to help you relax and clam the mind.
3. Now start see red at the base of the spine as a bright ball of red light. Feel your breath entering and leaving the center, while imagining a red ball the light from there.
4. After a minute or two in the root chakra, move towards the sexual chakra and repeat the exercise with the color orange.
5. In this fashion work through all the other chakras as well, in the navel chakra is at the level of solar plexus, heart chakra at the sternum, the throat chakra in the throat and third eye chakra in the middle of the forehead.
6. Once you complete the cycle, relax for a few minutes and then finish the meditation, to say that is healthy, balanced and peaceful.
The previous chakra meditation, works through the entire chakra system, but if you are interested in opening and balancing just one particular chakra, just concentrate on doing the meditation, visualization with color for the specific chakra. This chakra balancing method is very effective, but one must use caution, as it must be physically able to handle the increased energy flow that can occur when the chakras are activated and opened.
